Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, along with a minimum of 7 years of experience in software engineering, including at least 3 years in a management role. Strong leadership and team management skills are essential, as is experience with Agile development methodologies.
The Software Engineering Manager will manage small engineering teams to ensure products/features are delivered on time and with high quality, working closely with development, QA, and product teams to coordinate all aspects of deliverables. They will mentor and guide developers in best practices and coding standards, drive automated unit testing, and develop high-level product specifications. Additionally, the manager will be responsible for task planning, code reviews, recruitment, performance management, and fostering a high-functioning and productive team environment.
