Job Overview
The Engineering Manager will oversee and coordinate the daily operations of highly skilled engineering staff while ensuring that company objectives and goals are met. This role will be responsible for building up their team, owning the delivery of product commitments, and continually looking to improve productivity.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Hire and build a globally distributed, happy, and successful team.
- Plan and execute long-term strategies that benefit your team and the product stage(s).
- Understand Engineering KPIs and seek to improve them.
- Generate and implement process improvements.
- Hold regular 1:1s with team members.
- Provide your team with management mentorship.
- Enable quad planning team collaboration within product groups.
- Enable Product, Quality, and UX performance via solid, stable counterpart partnership.
- Give regular and clear feedback on individuals’ performance.
- Draft quarterly OKRs and Engineering KPIs.
- Improve product quality, security, and performance.
- Participate in the Incident Management on-call rotation to help ensure the availability goals are met, by working with reliability engineers and development team members.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Thorough understanding of Computer Science & Software Engineering.

- Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering required; Master's degree preferred.
- At least eight years of related experience required.

Compensation & Benefits
- Salary Range: Base Salary Range $180,000 - $220,000 + Bonus + Stock Equity

- The posted salary range is done so in good faith based on national data and may be refined for a candidate's region/town/cost of living. Salaries will be based on the applicant’s location, level of experience, education, and specialized knowledge and skills.
