A deep understanding of social platforms, particularly Reddit, TikTok, Instagram, and X, is essential. The ideal candidate will have excellent written communication skills, the ability to adapt tone across various channels and audiences, and a strong grasp of internet culture and go-to-market trends. Prior experience in a sales role (SDR, AE, or AM) is a significant advantage, as is familiarity with tools like Sprout.
The Social Community Manager will lead engagement across social and community platforms to expand brand awareness and foster connections with prospects and users. This role involves building community on owned channels by responding in real-time, initiating conversations, and identifying influencers. Responsibilities include managing and growing Apollo's presence on Reddit, representing Apollo in external communities, spotting user-generated content and product feedback, and sharing insights with internal teams. The role also entails partnering with internal stakeholders, hosting community-driven experiences, tracking and reporting on trends and engagement, and helping to shape the strategy for Apollo-hosted spaces.
