Digital Community Associate

Position Overview

Community Change is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Digital Community Associate to join our Communications team. This position is ideal for a strategic communicator with a deep commitment to social justice and 1 year of experience crafting compelling content across digital platforms. The Digital Community Associate will help shape and amplify Community Change’s voice through social media, toolkits, and advocacy materials that reflect the priorities and lived experiences of the communities we serve.

Working closely with the Director of Digital Strategy and other members of the Communications and Organizing teams, the Digital Community Associate will manage and produce written content and engagement strategies that support Community Change’s organizing, advocacy, and narrative work on issues such as immigrant rights, economic justice, and racial equity. This person will play a key role in growing our reach, deepening engagement, and translating campaign goals into powerful, accessible content.

This role may also support the work of Community Change Action, our affiliated 501(c)(4) advocacy organization.

About Community Change and Community Change Action

Community Change builds the power and capacity of low-income people, especially low-income people of color, to lead powerful and dynamic movements for social change.

Our vision of a better world centers the leadership of impacted people of color to move our work on immigrant rights, economic justice, and racial equity, including a focus on jobs and housing, early childhood care and education, income supports, and immigration reform.

While motivated by the same core values – equity, inclusion, and justice – Community Change and Community Change Action operate independently of one another and each organization has its own board of directors.
