Candidates should possess 3-5 years of B2B sales experience, with a proven record of success in selling to large corporate accounts through complex sales cycles and value-based selling. A minimum of 5 years in technology solution-based selling, including SaaS, Unified Communications, Cloud applications, VoIP, or telephony, is required, along with extensive Contact Center experience. Strong prospecting, presentation, negotiation, and organizational skills are essential, as is a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
The Account Executive will be responsible for prospecting net new logo accounts and growing existing accounts within their assigned territory, meeting with customers to upsell and follow up on engagements. They will evangelize RingCentral's value proposition to senior customer contacts and coordinate with sales teams to develop territory and account strategy plans. The role involves positioning cloud solutions, including RingCentral Office/Call Center and Contact Center solutions, acting as a customer advocate, and managing the sales process from identification to lifecycle management. The Account Executive must drive new revenue, consistently meet or exceed sales targets, partner with VARs, and own the go-to-market strategy for their patch.
