Responsibilities

The Sr. Network Engineer will design integrated telecommunications and unified communications (UC) systems, lead modernization initiatives like SIP/VOIP migrations and UCaaS/CCaaS solutions, and recommend optimizations for performance, quality, and reliability. They will also test telecom performance, diagnose and correct voice quality issues, design and manage enterprise phone systems, SIP trunking, Cisco UCCX, and NICE Contact Center platforms, and provide third-line escalation support. Responsibilities include collaborating with carriers and vendors, producing concepts and prototypes for UC solutions, implementing and testing telecom security measures, collecting functional requirements, and translating business needs into technical requirements. Additionally, the role involves developing personal and junior team member capabilities through training and coaching, and maintaining professional accreditation.
