Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree and 5-7 years of experience in contract management, with significant exposure to IT product-based government programs and contracts. A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in government procurement, contract administration, and compliance regulations is required, along with 3-5 years of experience in building supplier and reseller relationships. Program/contract management experience with GSA Schedules, BPAs, SEWP, NASPO, Texas DIR, or California CMAS is necessary. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint is essential, as is the ability to communicate clearly and effectively. Applicants must be a U.S. Person as defined in 22 C.F.R. § 120.15. A working understanding of FAR/DFARS and federal/SLED procurement regulations, fast learning of applications, ability to manage multiple responsibilities with tight deadlines, and strong organizational skills with attention to detail are also highly beneficial.
The SLED Contracts Specialist I will manage program administration, compliance, and support for internal federal GWACs and State Local and Educational (SLED) Contracts. Responsibilities include preparing price list updates and contract modifications, providing guidance on contract requirements, supporting contract lifecycle events, and tracking/reporting/paying contract fees. The specialist will also serve as a supplier/client and customer relationship manager, act as a point of contact for program management and contracting officers, and provide input for capture and bid & proposal efforts. Coordination with supplier/client organizations and government customers, preparation of monthly metrics and reports, and educating sales account teams on contract usage are key duties. Additionally, the role involves implementing company policies related to contract administration and training internal stakeholders on contractual requirements and processes.
