Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in financial analysis, specifically focusing on Earned Value Management. A strong understanding of Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), and FAR/DFARS standard clauses is required, along with proficiency in financial software like SAP and Excel, and Earned Value Management systems. Experience in the federal market or government contracting and a professional certification in Earned Value Management are preferred.

Responsibilities

The Program Controller will manage all financial aspects of assigned projects, ensuring compliance with GAAP and other requirements, and collaborate with project managers on budgets and deadlines. Responsibilities include coordinating vendor and subcontractor payments, monitoring project finances against guidelines, processing expense reimbursements, and implementing Earned Value Management systems. The role also involves preparing financial presentations and reports for senior management and government stakeholders, including CFSRs, organizing project reviews and close-out processes, auditing project financials, processing project-related transactions, generating status reports, mitigating contract penalties, and continuously improving project execution processes.
