Requirements

Candidates must hold a law degree and be licensed to practice law in at least one US state. A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience is required, including at least 5 years in-house commercial contracting experience with SaaS or software licensing transactions, supporting a sales organization, and managerial experience. Experience with US public sector contracting, including Federal, State, and Local government, and higher education sectors, is also necessary.

Responsibilities

The Senior Manager for US Public Sector Contracting will review and negotiate master SaaS licensing agreements, professional services agreements, and related contracts, ensuring they meet company policies and risk tolerance. Responsibilities include representing ServiceNow in negotiations with external parties, serving as a subject matter expert for government contract solicitations and RFPs, and collaborating with various business units to protect the company's interests. The role also involves leading and managing a team of legal professionals, advising the business on legal risks, supporting process improvements, and providing counsel and training to internal customers on company policies and legal issues.
