EA-State and Local Account Executive

Candidates should have over 10 years of experience and proven success in a customer-facing sales role proposing enterprise solutions. Demonstrated selling ability to State and Local Governments and Educational Institutions is required. A Bachelor's degree in Business or related field, or equivalent experience, is necessary. Proficiency with Salesforce.com CRM, Microsoft Office (mainly Excel), and other CRM tools is expected. Candidates must possess outstanding written and verbal communication skills, be self-motivated and a self-starter comfortable working remotely and autonomously, and have shown experience negotiating, proposing, and closing contracts with clients. Ability to travel as needed for the role is also a requirement.
The Account Executive will implement sales strategies to drive business growth and exceed revenue targets. They will develop and lead the sales pipeline, moving strategic transactions forward and collaborating with channel partners to sell the Cohesity solution and generate revenue. Responsibilities include proactively prospecting and penetrating accounts, reaching decision-makers, closing business, and developing sales strategies for the assigned region. The role involves building a compelling case for the Cohesity hyper-converged infrastructure solution, driving account strategies, and coordinating team selling efforts with partners to close business.
