Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in business, education, communications, or a related field. A minimum of 3 years of successful sales experience, preferably in K-12 or EdTech, is required, along with at least 2 years of experience in developing or managing strategic partnerships or equivalent business development experience. Demonstrated ability to drive results independently in a remote, field-based role, excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills, and experience using Salesforce or a similar CRM are also necessary.

Responsibilities

The Regional Partnership Manager will lead the full sales cycle for K-12 education customers in Texas and forge partnerships with foundations, corporations, and social impact organizations. Responsibilities include achieving sales targets, identifying and qualifying new opportunities, guiding prospects through the sales process, maintaining sales pipeline data in Salesforce, fostering client relationships for renewals and referrals, and representing SmartLab at events. The role also involves identifying, researching, and pursuing strategic partnership opportunities, managing a regional portfolio of partners, serving as a regional point of contact for partnerships, collaborating with internal teams, and performing administrative duties such as tracking sales activities and providing progress reports. Travel up to 30% is expected.
