The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in operations, service delivery, customer success, or support, preferably within fintech, compliance, or payroll. Direct experience with tax, compliance, or payroll operations, especially in partner-facing or high-volume settings, is highly valued. Proven ability to work with urgency and ownership in complex, fast-paced environments is essential, as is a strategic problem-solving approach coupled with a hands-on attitude. Strong communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences, particularly during ambiguous or high-pressure situations, are required. Familiarity with tools such as Slack, ChatGPT, Notion, and Zendesk is also beneficial.
The Service Delivery Specialist will triage and resolve complex partner escalations related to payroll, tax, compliance, and money movement, acting as a subject matter expert. They will monitor and respond to partner communications on Slack with urgency and clarity, and directly support early-stage partners. Responsibilities include identifying root causes of trends in escalations, recommending improvements to product, process, and service delivery, and communicating key themes, metrics, and risks to leadership. The specialist will also collaborate cross-functionally with Ops, Product, and Engineering to resolve edge cases and streamline workflows, and maintain internal and partner-facing documentation.
