You will report to the Manager, Movement Communications, and be part of the Movement Communications team within the larger Communications Department, working collaboratively with Foundation staff and over 300,000 Wikimedia volunteers and affiliate members.
Responsibilities include building consistency in communications, conceiving creative storytelling methods, connecting with movement members, supporting event organizing like Wikimania, board communications, metrics reporting, team support, and other delegated work.
A strong candidate has a deep understanding of multilingual and multicultural storytelling and digital content creation, experience in highly collaborative roles impacting global ecosystems, and skills in aligning communications with the Foundation’s values, voice, and tone.
