Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, with a minimum of 3 years of experience using ServiceNow, particularly in BCM, CMDB, and ITOM modules. Expertise in configuring and managing the ServiceNow CMDB module, proficiency in ITOM processes, and strong knowledge of ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, Glide API, server-side/client-side scripting) are essential. The ability to design and implement custom workflows and applications within ServiceNow, along with a solid understanding of ITIL practices, is also required. Desirable qualifications include ServiceNow certification, experience in user training and technical documentation creation, and familiarity with agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

The ServiceNow BCM Specialist will develop and manage Business Continuity Management processes within the ServiceNow platform, and lead the configuration and maintenance of the ServiceNow CMDB module for data accuracy. They will collaborate with IT teams to integrate ITOM processes, customize ServiceNow applications, and implement new modules, ensuring compliance with IT service management and business continuity best practices. The role involves providing technical expertise on ServiceNow functionalities, implementing and maintaining scripts, workflows, and business rules, monitoring system performance for efficiency improvements, and assisting in the development of user documentation and training materials. Regular participation in audits for platform improvement is also expected.
