Requirements

Expertise in administering core productivity systems like Google Workspace, Asana, Slack, including user management, security configurations, troubleshooting, and ensuring uptime
Experience managing technology deployments and hardware lifecycle, particularly with macOS (majority) and Windows PCs, including new hire setups, inventory maintenance, and troubleshooting
Ability to lead technology projects such as scoping, planning, executing tool rollouts, workflow optimizations, upgrades, migrations (e.g., advanced Google Workspace features, AI tools, SSO)
Skills in managing managed service provider (MSP) relationships, serving as escalation point for urgent issues requiring specialized knowledge or organizational context
Capability to drive user experience and training initiatives, including designing training programs, creating documentation, running workshops, and providing consultative workflow support
Knowledge of cybersecurity and compliance best practices to implement across managed technologies, monitor threats, and model data stewardship
Ability to support strategic technology planning, contribute to roadmaps, and evaluate new tools with user and operational perspective

Responsibilities

Own core productivity systems as primary administrator for Google Workspace, Asana, Slack, and other critical tools (user management, security, troubleshooting, uptime)
Manage technology deployments and hardware lifecycle (oversee new hire/replacement laptops, coordinate with MSP, execute urgent deployments, maintain inventory, troubleshoot hardware)
Lead technology projects to improve effectiveness (scope, plan, execute rollouts, optimizations, upgrades, migrations; gather requirements and translate to solutions)
Manage technology support ecosystem (supervise MSP relationships, ensure quality and improvement, handle escalations)
Drive user experience and training initiatives (design/deliver training, create documentation, run workshops, provide consultative support for workflows)
Model cybersecurity and compliance best practices (implement security across technologies, monitor threats, ensure data stewardship)
Support strategic technology planning (contribute to roadmaps, evaluate new tools and approaches)
