Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline, with 2 to 5 years of experience in pre-sales, business analysis, or solution architecture roles. Familiarity with enterprise IT stacks including Microsoft, open-source technologies, cloud computing, AI/ML, and ERP/CRM systems is required, along with competence in reading and creating architecture diagrams. Proficiency in technical writing, commercial structuring, compliance analysis, MS Office, Visio/Draw.io, and proposal automation software is essential. Strong analytical, problem-solving, presentation, and client-facing communication skills are necessary, along with meticulous attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines. Experience with government and enterprise RFPs is preferred, and candidates should be proactive in embracing new technologies.

Responsibilities

The Senior Technical Pre-Sales Engineer will analyze client requirements from RFPs, RFQs, and EOIs, and draft high-quality technical and commercial proposals. Responsibilities include creating proposal outlines, compliance matrices, and response strategies, as well as composing comprehensive technical and financial proposal sections. The role involves contributing to solution design and architectures, staying informed about various technology stacks, and offering technical insights on deployment approaches and security standards. Additionally, the engineer will support pre-sales activities like presentations and workshops, address client technical questions, create reusable proposal materials, and collaborate with the commercial team on pricing models and BOQs. They will also articulate risks, assumptions, and dependencies, monitor industry trends, and provide feedback to product teams.
