Candidates should possess 5 years of relevant experience in technical RFP writing within the technology or healthcare tech industry, demonstrating in-depth knowledge of interpreting RFPs, developing technical responses and proposals. An APMP Practitioner or Shipley certification, or equivalent experience with APMP or Shipley certification in progress, is required. Familiarity with US healthcare (US Payer and Provider) is preferred, along with a post-secondary education.
The Pursuit Manager will oversee the full-cycle technical proposal processes for assigned RFPs and opportunities, including development, win theme strategy, and delivery of pursuits or projects deemed strategic. They will act as the main point of contact for project managing the RFP and client pursuit process, conducting gap analyses, developing strategies to overcome them, technical writing, and ensuring compliance with mandatory requirements. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams to achieve proposal objectives, develop recommendations to improve proposal capabilities, provide metrics and data, and maintain up-to-date knowledge of Smile products and industry trends. Additionally, the Pursuit Manager will be responsible for entering and monitoring tracking data, articulating requirements with contributors, and transmitting proposals while complying with privacy and security policies.
