Requirements

Candidates should have 7-8 years of industry experience, with at least 5 years in a pre-sales role, and possess outstanding presentation skills for both technical and executive audiences. A broad range of experience in large-scale Database/Data Warehouse technology, ETL, analytics, and cloud technologies like Data Lake, Data Mesh, or Data Fabric is required, along with hands-on expertise in SQL, SQL analytics, and Python. A university degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent experience is preferred, and a Master's in Data Science or Business Administration is a plus. Experience with GSIs, SLED, PubSec, or industry experience is beneficial.

Responsibilities

The Senior Solution Engineer will present Snowflake technology and vision to executives and technical contributors, work hands-on with prospects and customers to demonstrate value throughout the sales cycle, and immerse themselves in the industry to understand competitive and complementary technologies. They will also collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing to improve Snowflake's products and marketing.
