Responsibilities

  • Manages portfolios and ensures timely conversion of receivables into cash in line with established client policies, procedures, and goals
  • Collects on past due accounts and partners with clients to bring accounts back to current status to meet DSO and company cash objectives
  • Communicates regularly with Client Services regarding past due accounts and other issues discovered during routine collection calls or correspondence
  • Maintains current portfolio and collection calls while advising appropriate parties of deteriorating, potentially high-risk accounts and impediments to prompt collections
  • Crafts working relationship with the Cash Receipts team to ensure accurate research and support
  • Builds, runs, and manipulates reports in Great Plains to identify past due accounts, reconcile accounts, or provide reports to leadership
  • Maintains and continuously updates notes in Great Plains
  • Approves payment apps and frats according to assigned limits, prepares adjustments, refunds, and payment applications following standard procedures
  • Provides outstanding customer service to internal and external clients, identifies root causes of disputes, and works with necessary departments to resolve problems and prevent future disputes
  • Assists with training team members, answers questions, and provides additional support to the Team Lead
  • Observes areas of training needs for individual team members
  • Takes charge in the absence of the Team Lead
