Requirements

Exceptional problem-solving abilities, a self-starter mentality, collaborative approach, and strong communication skills are also necessary, as is the ability to thrive in a dynamic, cross-functional setting with competing priorities.

Responsibilities

The Senior Manager of Credit & Collections will lead, mentor, and develop a team of AR collection specialists, setting performance goals and delegating tasks. They will oversee timely and accurate collections from a global customer base, tailoring strategies for different segments. This role involves defining, documenting, and implementing end-to-end collections processes, analyzing AR aging reports to identify high-risk accounts, and negotiating payment plans. The manager will collaborate with Sales, Account Management, Customer Success, and Legal to resolve AR issues and improve customer satisfaction. They will also build reporting and dashboards to monitor collections performance, oversee AR tooling and implementation, and partner with Revenue Accounting for proper revenue recognition and bad debt provisioning. Additionally, the role includes designing and implementing internal controls for compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements, and assisting with external audits related to AR.
