Ambient.ai is seeking passionate individuals who are adept at solving complex problems with cutting-edge AI/ML.

We are looking for top-tier Sales Engineers who excel at securing Fortune 500 clients. This role requires a driven, high-energy professional passionate about impactful technology and demonstrating its real-world business value. As a pre-sales professional, you will be responsible for showcasing Ambient.ai through compelling demonstrations, leading business-value-driven pilots, crafting value-driven proposals, and articulating the measurable business outcomes delivered by Ambient. Your ability to translate technical capabilities into strategic advantages will be crucial for closing deals and ensuring customer success.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Regional Sales Managers to navigate complex, multi-stakeholder deals.
  • Lead successful technical Pilots (proof of concepts/proof of values) with customers.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Customer Success, and Engineering teams to influence the product roadmap, maintain internal connections, and act as a voice of the customer.
  • Execute Business Value Assessments to establish and anchor business value across stakeholders.
  • Conduct engaging product demonstrations and presentations for both technical and non-technical audiences, effectively communicating the differentiated value proposition.
  • Win deals through world-class preparation and execution, employing a consultative approach to solve meaningful business problems.
  • Build strong customer relationships by acting as a trusted advisor, providing technical expertise, addressing technical inquiries, and proposing solutions.

Requirements

  • Excellent written, verbal communication, and presentation skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Highly motivated, driven, and self-starting individual.
  • Possess strong technical knowledge, a consultative approach, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Demonstrate a customer-first attitude, a belief in teamwork, and a competitive spirit.
  • 5+ years of proven success selling enterprise technology, with a focus on SaaS and/or innovative hardware-based solutions.
  • Provide clear examples of partnering with Sales to manage complex technical deals with Enterprise customers.
  • Solid understanding of L2 switching concepts (VLANs, limitations of L2 vs. L3, physical vs. logical network isolation).
  • Basic Linux networking skills (assigning IP/mask/gateway to NICs, configuring MLAG/failover redundancy).
  • Familiarity with any cloud environment (GCP, AWS, Azure).

Bonus Skills

  • Familiarity with security cameras.
  • Familiarity with physical access control systems (PACS).
