Position Overview

As a member of the Solution Consulting team, you will play a crucial role in supporting Solution Sales for Employee Experience, Customer Workflow, and ITX. You will guide revenue for one of our products, collaborating closely with Sales, Product Management, and the executive team. This is a hands-on technical consultant role requiring both breadth and depth in solution delivery and positioning during sales cycles.


Responsibilities

  • Solution Development & Positioning: Develop, position, and provide product-specific solutions during sales cycles to meet quarterly and annual sales goals for an assigned territory.
  • Sales Support: Act as a technical and domain expert for a client-facing sales team, pursuing customers and prospects across multiple industry markets.
  • Discovery & Demonstration: Lead discovery workshops to understand customer challenges and deliver product demonstrations that align our solutions with customer needs.
  • Client Relationships: Develop strong client partner relationships.
  • Strategic Guidance: Guide strategic programs in top accounts, including customer journey sessions for roadmap and outcome agreement.
  • Product Feedback: Provide feedback to product management on product enhancements to address customer needs and add value.
  • Best Practice Sharing: Share and learn best practices and reusable assets with other Solution Consultants to improve team efficiency and quality.
  • Market Awareness: Stay current on competitive analysis and market differentiation.
  • Marketing Support: Support marketing events, including executive briefings, conferences, user groups, and trade shows.

Qualifications

  • AI Integration Experience: Experience leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving. This includes using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven insights, or exploring AI's impact on a function or industry.
  • Pre-Sales Experience: 10+ years of pre-sales solution consulting or sales engineering experience.
  • Platform Proficiency: Proficiency with the ServiceNow platform or technical expertise with cloud software solutions.
  • Collaboration: Experience working collaboratively with product management, product marketing, partners, and professional services.
  • Territory Management: Skills in territory management, including pipeline building and working with Sales counterparts to drive execution excellence.
  • Travel: Ability to travel as necessary.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Pay: $165,825 - $273,675 (guideline, actual compensation may vary based on qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location).
  • Incentive Compensation: Sales positions typically offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure.
  • Equity: Potential for equity (when applicable).
