Candidates must possess a BS or MS in Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or Computer Science, or equivalent experience, with over 10 years of relevant work experience in the high-tech electronics industry in a system design or technical customer support role. Essential qualifications include in-depth knowledge of servers, storage systems, network devices, and other data center hardware, along with expert analytical, problem-solving, time-management, and organizational skills. Strong written and oral communication skills in English are also required. Preferred qualifications include in-depth knowledge of Infiniband, Ethernet, or similar networking solutions, experience with large-scale datacenter equipment rollouts, networking knowledge (TCP/IP, RDMA, RoCE, NICs, Switches), embedded Linux system and API knowledge, and experience working with OEMs in industrial, military, and ruggedized computing.
The Senior Field Application Engineer will act as a technical specialist in networking and datacenter products, supporting sales account managers to deliver AI datacenter solutions. Responsibilities include solving complex hardware and deployment issues, providing onsite support for large datacenter deployments of NVIDIA AI solutions, and establishing technical relationships with customer engineers, management, and architects. The role involves identifying customer architectures and key product requirements in the enterprise AI market, providing technical and sales training to sales teams and channel partners, and establishing strong communication channels with internal teams. The FAE will also be responsible for technical engagement for OEM networking design-in and integration into large datacenter deployments of NVIDIA AI computing systems.
