Employment Type: Regular - Full Time Salary: $180,996 - $248,869 USD/year (OTE) Location Type: Hybrid

Position Overview

Sysdig is at the forefront of cloud security, detecting and stopping attacks in real-time with runtime insights powered by open-source Falco. We are a well-funded startup with a passion for open source and a mission to secure cloud-native applications. We are looking for driven team members to join us in leading global cloud security.

What You Will Do

  • Report to the Sr. Director, Sales Engineering.
  • Drive in-depth discovery discussions with prospective customers to understand their environment and associated needs.
  • Deliver world-class product demonstrations and assist customers with Proofs of Value (POVs), driving success.
  • Interface with Sysdig support, customer success, and professional services teams to ensure Sysdig customers are power users of the product.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of the security landscape and articulate the general challenges of securing cloud-native applications.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to customers and prospects, helping them navigate the cloud technology space.

What You Will Bring

  • 5 to 10 years of previous experience as a Sales Engineer.
  • Solid understanding of the technical sales process.
  • Expert understanding of Cloud and related technologies.
  • A history of success working directly with end-users.
  • Experience balancing multiple customers while achieving positive outcomes.

What We Look For

  • Virtualization, containerization, and microservices experience.
  • Certifications such as CISSP, CKA, CKS, AWS, GCP, Azure.
  • SaaS experience, ideally across multiple clouds.
  • Familiarity with CSPM, Container, and Cloud security, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
  • Experience presenting at industry events and meetups.
