Requirements

  • Experience: 6+ years building and shipping web applications as a designer, engineer, or product manager at tech companies.
  • PM Experience: 2+ years as a Product Manager in startup environments (growth-stage companies).
  • Roadmap Management: Ability to translate long-term strategies and large feature backlogs into roadmaps.
  • Ambiguity Handling: Ability to manage uncertainty and ambiguity effectively, making decisive calls with limited information.
  • User Empathy: Strong empathy for users and a desire to understand their problems through direct interaction.

Responsibilities

  • Manage Product Roadmap: Develop and maintain the product roadmap in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Problem Framing: Explain the problems being solved and why, providing clarity for the engineering and design teams.
  • Conduct Research & Analysis: Gather supporting evidence through user interviews, market research, and competitive analysis.
  • Collaborate Without Meetings: Utilize an asynchronous, non-meeting culture, relying heavily on written communication.
  • Persuade with a Light Touch: Drive decisions and align the team, ensuring everyone feels included in the process.
  • Report on Impact: Track and communicate the impact of shipped features to the team.
