What you bring

  • Experience: An experienced Individual Contributor (IC) product designer with a portfolio demonstrating mastery of end-to-end design craft.
  • Complex Solutions: Preference for candidates experienced in designing complex solutions for complete digital environments.
  • Industry Experience: Deep experience in Fintech, HR tech, B2B, or SaaS is a plus.
  • Autonomy: Proven ability to autonomously own design for a team or feature area.
  • Portfolio: An impressive portfolio showcasing how design work consistently delivers outstanding results for both the business and end-users.
  • Design Craft: Work demonstrating expertise in simplicity, typography, interaction design, and UI design.
  • Case Studies: Case studies detailing the full end-to-end design process, from insight gathering to problem definition, conceptual design, delivery, measurement, and optimization.
  • Collaboration: Clear evidence of effective cross-functional collaboration within a dev team, utilizing feedback, consensus building, and conflict resolution.
  • Communication: Persuasive communication skills to build narratives around design work. Clear, fluent written and spoken English for effective global communication.
  • Influence: Evidence of beginning to influence the wider design team, potentially through mentoring and sharing impactful work.
  • Core Values: Candidates embodying and demonstrating Remote's core values.
  • Remote Work: While not required, experience working remotely is considered a plus.
