Requirements

The ideal candidate will have the ability to interpret legislation related to pricing, consumer conduct, and financial promotions across multiple jurisdictions. Demonstrated experience working with cross-functional teams including compliance, marketing, and finance to launch products in multiple regions or business lines is preferred. A deep working knowledge of conduct-related Payments and Financial Services Regulations from either a consultancy or in-house legal background is essential. The candidate must have experience leading major projects, influencing decision-making through detailed problem analysis, and reporting complex regulatory expectations to senior stakeholders and C-levels. Experience in building operational frameworks is also required.

Responsibilities

The Senior Product Compliance Manager will own and develop the pricing controls framework and regulatory compliance strategy, acting as a first line of defense within the Pricing Product Squad. Responsibilities include leading the Pricing Product Compliance and Risk program, conducting compliance risk assessments for new pricing models, and interpreting regulatory requirements for product and engineering teams. The role involves coordinating with global teams to ensure smooth delivery of pricing changes, refining customer understanding of pricing communications, and collaborating with the Pricing product team to develop innovative pricing strategies that minimize fees. Additionally, the manager will build a framework for pricing controls, minimize regulatory and operational risk, and represent Wise in industry associations and regulatory consultations.
