Government Pricing Associate Director

Position Overview
The Government Pricing Associate Director is accountable for the service provided to multiple pharmaceutical companies to ensure timely and accurate calculation of government prices utilized for federal drug reimbursement. This role serves as a government pricing subject matter expert, providing advice and guidance to other operations team members.
Responsibilities
- Manage ongoing client relationships, interfacing with clients to resolve specific issues.
- Review and approve all client billings.
- Calculate and file appropriate prices for federal drug programs, including:
- BP (Best Price)
- AMP (Average Manufacturer Price)
- ASP (Average Sales Price)
- PHS/340B (Public Health Service/Section 340B)
- NFAMP (Non-Federal AMP)
- FCP/FSS (Federal Ceiling Price/Federal Supply Schedule)
- IFF (Inflationary Federal Price)
- URA (Unit Rebate Amount)
- Handle complex Government Pricing concepts such as bundles, discount reallocation, pro-ration, and smoothing.
- Lead, review, and approve price calculation reporting with clients.
- Oversee the analysis and review of monthly and quarterly source data reconciliation and sales data used in price reporting calculations, ensuring reports are submitted in accordance with government regulations.
- Maintain valid customer Class of Trades assignments in accordance with regulations.
- Ensure that 340B/PHS prices are calculated, available for pricing, and maintained per federal regulation.
- Lead client price calculation and/or restatement efforts, as needed.
- Lead, manage, mentor, and develop a government program team of Consultants and Managers.
- Stay current and provide business guidance internally and to customers related to the life sciences' Commercial and/or regulatory landscape.
- Continuously build detailed subject matter expertise and thought leadership in government program regulations and share this knowledge with direct reports and peer groups.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree required in finance, accounting, or other applicable business experience.
- Experience:
- 10+ years of experience working in the pharmaceutical industry with state and federal pricing, reporting, and rebate programs.
- Experience working in a mandated deadline environment.
- Proven ability to manage multiple client assignments and prioritize effectively.
- High accuracy rate and attention to detail; ability to produce client-ready deliverables for a high-level executive/professional client base.
- Experience achieving and maintaining compliance with all applicable regulatory, legal, and operational rules and procedures by ensuring all plans and activities meet "best" industry practices.
- Skills:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products required.
- Knowledge of advanced Excel techniques such as pivot tables and data importing is desired.
- Experience in and ability to learn standard industry systems environments.
- Essential ability to manage multiple and competing tasks across functional areas.

Compensation:
- Positions are eligible to participate in either our employee bonus program or commission payments, depending on the nature of the role.
- The base salary for this position will be $135,000 - $156,000.
