Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree and over 10 years of experience in pharmacy benefits RFPs, contracts, AWP discount pricing, and rebate guarantees. Applicants must be based in Arkansas, Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Nevada, North Carolina, South Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington, or Wisconsin. The ideal candidate will be commercially-minded, deeply knowledgeable about PBM pricing, curious, critically-minded, detail-oriented, and eager to win.
The Pricing Strategy Director will collaborate with Sales and Proposals teams to develop winning PBM offers, particularly for large enterprise clients. This role involves working closely with Strategy, Partnerships, Legal, Supply Chain, and Revenue teams to drive company growth. Responsibilities include conducting repricing and member experience analyses, composing compelling offers for large employers, generating pricing and RFP responses, adapting pricing offers for prospects, creating client-ready spreadsheets and presentations, understanding SmithRx's business model, evaluating risks in pricing and RFP strategies, and supporting legal and contractual negotiations related to pricing and reconciliation terms.
