The Position
This is an opportunity to join Remote's People team as a Senior People Partner, contributing to the company's extraordinary growth. As an individual contributor, you will focus on enabling and supporting Remote. Your role will involve leading employee relations conversations, acting as a partner and coach to leadership, and contributing to the development and iteration of employee resources, programs, tools, and the overall people enablement strategy.
Requirements
- Experience in a People team, specifically in a People Partner capacity, supporting a global organization.
- Tech start-up and hyper growth experience is a plus, but not required.
- Commitment to upholding Remote's values within the team and the broader organization.
- Demonstrated discretion and sound judgment when handling sensitive and confidential information.
- Proven ability to solve complex problems, identify root causes, and take initiative to seek advice for effective outcomes.
- Ability to support and influence across all departments, with a focus on company values, patience, and empathy.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with employees to support organizational growth.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
- Previous remote work experience is a plus, but not required.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a partner, enabler, and coach to leadership across the organization.
- Own, manage, and resolve employee relations issues in a kind and effective manner.
- Proactively create, contribute to, and implement initiatives, resources, tools, and strategies to support the organization's extraordinary global growth and sustainability.
- Advocate for and serve as a resource for internal Remote employees.
- Collaborate and enable colleagues globally to ensure a vibrant and effective workplace.
- Partner with leaders on topics including leadership, organizational design, performance management, business strategy, difficult conversations, and non-traditional management approaches.
- Serve as an escalation point for moderate People Partner and general People issues.
- Collaborate and partner with other departments, acting as a key stakeholder for People initiatives to ensure business readiness aligned with Remote’s vision and strategy.
- Own and execute the global offboarding process in conjunction with the Legal Team, ensuring a positive, values-aligned experience.
- Mentor fellow People team members.
- Identify trends, patterns, and gaps within the organization, share feedback, and take initiative to address them with long-term outcomes in mind.
- Partner closely with the rest of the People team on various people programs and initiatives.
- Analyze people data and trends to inform strategic decisions and program development.
- Exhibit a growth mindset with a high level of emotional intelligence in daily work and personal development.
- Act as an ambassador for the company.
