Requirements

Candidates should possess 7+ years of experience in cooperating with customers and technology partners, and experience selling Enterprise Hardware or Software, Cloud Platforms, IaaS, PaaS, or Virtual Infrastructure software. They must be comfortable working with multiple decision-makers to drive proposals, possess excellent technical and business presentation skills for various audience sizes, and have outstanding written and verbal communication skills. A consistent track record of building strong internal relationships and working cross-organizationally, along with self-motivation and comfort working remotely and autonomously, is essential. A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, a related field, or equivalent experience is required, and willingness to travel within the prescribed territory is necessary.

Responsibilities

The Senior Manager, Sales Engineering will lead a team in the Ohio Valley and Midwest territory, assisting with complex customer opportunities. They will mentor and develop team members, provide expert sales and technical assistance by articulating Cohesity technology, and enable customers to integrate Cohesity products. Responsibilities include responding to customer and partner requests, driving secondary storage technology strategy, communicating Cohesity's vision through demonstrations and white papers, guiding the team in proof of concepts, collaborating with product management on customer requirements, and providing project management and post-sales technical support if needed.
