Requirements

Strong relationship-building skills with business partners (Global Capital Project Engineering, Global Capital Project Delivery, Site Engineering, Finance, EHS, Quality)
Expertise in developing project sourcing strategies for major capital projects (>$25MM)
Experience in contract development, review, negotiation, and compliance with internal/legal/regulatory requirements
Knowledge of procurement processes including execution plans, Should Cost Estimates, RFQs, RFPs, bid evaluation
Proficiency in risk management, including developing risk registers, mitigation strategies, market trend monitoring, and supply chain risk assessment
Skills in budget/cost control, payment processes, change orders, and variations
Familiarity with Autodesk preconstruction suite and construction management platforms for documentation, workflows, tracking, reporting
Ability to work with Construction Managers on subcontractor buyout strategies
Operational alignment with stakeholders in US major capital projects

Responsibilities

Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with suppliers (Construction Managers, AE, Project Controls, C&Q, subcontractors)
Ensure contracts comply with internal and legal/regulatory requirements
Work with Construction Managers to develop subcontractor buyout strategies
Develop procurement execution plans and strategies
Oversee procurement processes: develop Should Cost Estimates, prepare/issue RFQs/RFPs, evaluate bids/proposals, select contractors/suppliers
Develop procurement risk registers during preconstruction and assist in mitigation strategies
Monitor market trends in construction/capital projects and mitigate supply chain risks
Use project risk registers to identify contract risks and develop mitigation strategies
Ensure contractual obligations are met and risks managed
Monitor project budgets/costs to stay within limits
Review and assist in contractor/supplier payment processes
Co-manage change orders and contract variations
Assist with setup/maintenance of Autodesk preconstruction suite for capital projects
Ensure insurances, permits, licenses are obtained and recorded
Ensure compliance with BMS SOPs, laws, regulations, standards
Utilize/support project teams with procurement documentation, workflows, tracking, reporting using Autodesk platforms
Maintain accurate records
