Senior Manager, Pharmacy Network Growth

Position Overview

Montu is transforming access to medical cannabis in Germany. We are seeking a high-impact Senior Manager to lead the growth and performance of our pharmacy network, while supporting the broader development of our telehealth and B2B business. This is a pharmacy-first commercial leadership role focused on building, managing, and expanding a high-performing pharmacy network to ensure reliable, compliant access to cannabis-based medicines.

Responsibilities

  • Own and Expand Pharmacy Partnerships:
    • Lead all aspects of pharmacy engagement, including acquisition, onboarding, long-term relationship management, and performance tracking.
  • Drive B2B Sales and Distribution Strategy:
    • Negotiate commercial agreements with pharmacy stakeholders, wholesalers, and third-party partners to grow product access and margin contribution.
  • Apply Strong Commercial Acumen:
    • Utilize data, insight, and market knowledge to optimize deal structures, pricing strategies, and partnership models.
  • Build on Your Existing Network:
    • Leverage deep relationships within the German pharmacy ecosystem to generate traction and open new growth channels.
  • Collaborate Across the Business:
    • Work closely with supply chain, regulatory, marketing, and tech teams to align distribution with product strategy and patient demand.
  • Ensure Operational and Regulatory Excellence:
    • Ensure full compliance with GDP/GMP standards and lead operational best practices across our pharmacy ecosystem.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in pharmacy partnerships, pharmaceutical wholesale, or B2B healthcare sales, ideally in medical cannabis or specialty medications.
  • Network: A proven network of pharmacy contacts in Germany.
  • Commercial Acumen: Strong understanding of pricing, margins, market dynamics, and how to structure scalable deals.
  • Skills: Outstanding negotiation and relationship-building skills.
  • Mindset: Entrepreneurial, hands-on, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Languages: Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.
