Requirements

Candidates should possess at least 8 years of experience in DEI, Learning & Development, organizational development, or talent strategy, with proven leadership in DEI strategy design and implementation. Expertise in learning program design, instructional methodologies, and leadership development is essential, along with strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, particularly in mission-driven, global organizations. Experience coaching and managing multicultural teams, balancing strategic vision with hands-on execution, and familiarity with learning technology platforms and data-driven impact measurement are required. Strong communication skills in English are necessary, as is a commitment to Wikimedia’s values and the free knowledge movement. The ability and willingness to travel as needed is also a requirement.

Responsibilities

The Senior Manager will define and execute the People Growth & Belonging strategy, aligning it with the organization's mission and priorities. They will lead, mentor, and develop members of the PGB team, oversee the Engagement & Inclusion Survey, and drive evidence-based DEI strategy and initiatives, including racial equity commitments and global inclusion efforts. The role involves supporting Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), championing inclusive leadership development, and overseeing Learning & Development programs. Collaboration with various HR functions to embed DEI and L&D principles into talent processes and developing methods to assess initiative impact are key responsibilities. The Senior Manager will also serve as a strategic advisor to the VP, People Growth & Belonging.
