Requirements

Candidates should possess over 8 years of experience in DEI, Learning & Development, organizational development, or talent strategy. Proven leadership in DEI strategy design and implementation, with expertise in learning program design, instructional methodologies, and leadership development is required. Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, experience coaching and managing multicultural teams, the ability to balance strategic vision with hands-on execution, familiarity with learning technology platforms and data-driven impact measurement, and strong English communication skills are essential. A commitment to Wikimedia's values and the free knowledge movement, along with the ability and willingness to travel, is also necessary.

Responsibilities

The Senior Manager will define and execute the People Growth & Belonging strategy, aligning with Wikimedia's mission and organizational priorities. They will lead, mentor, and develop part of the PGB team, oversee the Engagement & Inclusion Survey, and drive evidence-based DEI strategy and initiatives. The role involves supporting Employee Resource Groups, championing inclusive leadership development, overseeing L&D programs, and collaborating with various departments to embed DEI and L&D principles. Additionally, the Senior Manager will develop methods to assess initiative impact and act as a strategic advisor to the VP, People Growth & Belonging.
