Candidates must possess 8+ years of experience as a Salesforce Developer, Solution Architect, or Technical Lead in collaborative environments, along with 8+ years of experience in Agile and DevOps settings involving peer code reviews and testing. They should have extensive experience in designing and leading complex solutions, familiarity with all phases of the software development lifecycle, and proficiency in Visualforce, Apex classes, triggers, batch classes, REST-based web services, Java, HTML, XML, and SQL, including the Lightning tech stack. Furthermore, they require experience with deployment processes between Salesforce environments using tools like Bitbucket or GitHub, and experience breaking projects down into smaller tasks for team completion.
As a Salesforce Senior Engineer, the individual will define and maintain coding standards, architecture, and reliability aligned with Salesforce best practices, maximizing team efficiency and collaborating closely with Product Management, Account Management, Partner Services, and Commercial teams to plan, develop, and deploy new capabilities on the Salesforce Platform. They will write and review design documents, contribute to the deployment process, approve or review pull requests, and utilize Salesforce APIs to integrate systems. The role involves recommending best practice solutions, simplifying system maintenance, championing system health, maintaining a deep understanding of multiple products, working with teams to deliver projects and solve problems, leading the work of other engineers, and communicating team work while influencing the roadmap. Additionally, they will make decisions regarding their team and neighboring teams, seeking data and cultivating consensus.
