Job Summary: PointClickCare is seeking a Senior Application Engineer with extensive Salesforce Development and Administration experience. This role also involves troubleshooting Git and DevOps issues for other team members. The ideal candidate is a stellar team player with a continuous learning mindset, comfortable working autonomously and coaching others. Reporting to the Sr. Manager of Application Operations Engineering, you will leverage your skills without guidance, debug complex issues, contribute to technical documentation, manage the DevOps pipeline, onboard team members, and peer review builds. You’ll also provide training and consultation on systems and processes developed by the ESA team for business partners, supporting transformational projects, high-priority enhancements, and regular updates.

Requirements

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in Salesforce Development and Administration.
  • Salesforce Development: Deep understanding of Salesforce development principles and best practices.
  • Salesforce Admin: Experience with Salesforce Administration, including configuration and customization.
  • Version Control: Familiarity with versioning systems like GitHub.
  • DevOps: Experience with Salesforce DevOps pipelines and tools (e.g., Copado).
  • Troubleshooting: Ability to debug standard to complex issues.
  • Teamwork: Stellar accountable team player with a continuous learning mindset.
  • Autonomy: Comfortable working autonomously and coaching others.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain configuration and custom applications that integrate with core applications like Salesforce or NetSuite.
  • Troubleshoot Git and DevOps related issues for other team members.
  • Contribute to the development of technical documentation.
  • Manage the DevOps pipeline.
  • Onboard and train team members.
  • Peer review builds developed by other team members.
  • Provide training and consultation related to systems and processes developed by the ESA team for business partners.
  • Support transformational projects, high-priority enhancements, and regular updates.
