Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. They should have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in PCB design and electronic systems, along with proficiency in office software, computer-based productivity tools, and other relevant software. Strong problem-solving skills and experience with PCB circuit design, component placement, libraries, layout, and simulation are required, as well as hands-on experience with PCB/Electronic system bring-up, debugging, and functional verification. Experience working cross-functionally with power, mechanical, and firmware during product development is also necessary. Familiarity with firmware development using Tivaware with Code Composer is a plus.
The Senior Electronics Engineer will be responsible for designing and revising electronics PCBs, evaluating electrical systems and products, and assuring product quality through the design of electrical testing methods and the provision of Q/C acceptance criteria and procedures. They will perform FA inspections on PCBs and electronic modules, work within the existing firmware architecture to implement alterations and bug fixes, and document changes for traceability. The role also involves supporting production and QC to maintain uninterrupted production cycles, as well as mentoring and collaborating with junior Electrical Engineers, providing leadership and training. Additionally, the engineer will identify process deficiencies and develop solutions to correct them, improve processes, and perform other duties as assigned.
