Requirements

Candidates should possess experience with digital signal processing techniques related to RF instruments and developing algorithms using data from RF instruments, demonstrating exceptional skills in Python-based development and analysis, and exhibiting the ability to work effectively with a distributed, interdisciplinary team. Experience with precision timing, geolocation of RF transmitters, GNU Radio, retrieval algorithms from satellite Earth observations, and understanding of scientific instruments is preferred. Familiarity with cloud-native systems (AWS, Flyte) is also desirable.

Responsibilities

The RF Signal Processing Specialist will support the algorithmic and software development of data processing pipelines, build operational data products from remote sensing observations, work with scientists and the data team to continually refine data products, and demonstrate a willingness to learn new topics as needed, including measurement techniques, retrieval concepts, and data platforms/tools.
