Required skills include hands-on embedded electronics prototyping, deep expertise in developing and maintaining automated test frameworks for embedded systems, comfort with multiple programming languages for device validation and profiling, and experience with Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) and Software-in-the-Loop (SIL) testing. Additionally, candidates must have experience commercializing electronic hardware, the ability to read schematics and PCB layouts, familiarity with test case management tools like TestRail or Zephyr, and bug tracking systems such as Jira. Strong communication skills, humility, curiosity, and a passion for knowledge sharing are also essential.
The Staff Embedded Systems Test Engineer will design, implement, and manage the critical infrastructure required to guarantee the reliability, performance, and scalability of embedded systems.
