Requirements

Candidates must hold a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as engineering or Mathematics, including Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or Information Systems, and possess at least 10 years of professional experience with a Master’s degree or 14 years with a Bachelor’s degree in research, design, and development of computer and network software or specialized utility programs, including database maintenance. Applicants should demonstrate experience applying programming concepts in a professional or academic setting, and have experience with modern software development methodologies like DevOps/DevSecOps, and be capable of obtaining Agile Developer or Certified Scrum Developer certifications.

Responsibilities

The Senior Test Engineer will evaluate the applicability of information systems issues, including hardware/software integration and compatibility across multiple platforms, and work with Test Engineers to develop test cases and formal test plans for implementing large information systems. They will provide testing input for program engineering and acquisition documents and products, test software systems and report defects clearly, track systems bugs and discrepancies, ensure software engineers resolve issues, and perform complex testing to confirm computer systems conform to specifications.
