Requirements

  • 10+ years in the SaaS industry
  • At least 5-7 years in a leadership capacity within Solutions Engineering or technical sales
  • Proven experience managing other managers in a worldwide capacity ("leader of leaders")
  • Proven builder of pre-sales teams, technical sales motions, and strategy
  • Deep, demonstrated understanding of enterprise sales cycles and a history of being a strategic partner to sales

Responsibilities

  • Drive Sales Strategy & Execution: Work directly for the SVP of Sales and alongside other GTM leaders to design and execute the global GTM strategy, owning the technical sales motion aligned with revenue goals
  • Architect a World-Class SE Organization: Build, lead, and mentor a global team of Solutions Engineering managers and their teams, scaling across segments and regions to win complex, high-value deals
  • Instrument a Winning Methodology: Take ownership of implementing the sales methodology (MEDDPPICC) in the technical sales process, creating frameworks to uncover pain, articulate value, and secure technical wins
  • Act as an Executive Sponsor: Engage directly with C-level executives at strategic customers and partners to build trust and unblock critical deals
  • Build the Engine for Scale: Develop and manage the operational engine for the SE organization, including capacity planning, performance analytics, budget management, and rules of engagement to maximize sales productivity
  • Serve as the Voice of the Field: Act as the primary liaison between sales and Product/Engineering leadership, synthesizing customer feedback to influence product strategy and roadmap
  • Collaborate with Product, Marketing, and CX teams to manage cross-functional projects and feature releases, enabling front-line managers to focus on coaching
  • Work with the Partnerships team to support the Channel Partner Program
