  • J.D. with strong academic credentials and active membership in at least one U.S. state bar
  • 6+ years of combined law firm and in-house experience, with a significant portion focused on B2B SaaS
  • Expertise negotiating complex SaaS and technology agreements with sophisticated enterprise customers
  • Working knowledge of data privacy laws (GDPR, CCPA/CPRA), IP ownership/licensing, and information security requirements
  • Comfortable operating independently in a dynamic, high-growth setting—balancing multiple priorities and making judgment calls in real-time
  • Excellent communicator who builds trust and works collaboratively across business, technical, and legal teams

Responsibilities

  • Have an integral role in building out best-in-class foundational legal processes
  • Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements with a focus on enterprise SaaS contracts
  • Serve as the primary legal partner to GTM teams, providing practical guidance that aligns legal risk with business goals
  • Develop scalable contracting workflows, playbooks, and enablement materials that accelerate deal velocity while safeguarding the company
  • Advise on data privacy, security, intellectual property, and regulatory matters
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external legal resources to move processes forward
  • Work closely with Product and Engineering to integrate privacy and security principles into product development and support compliance initiatives
