Requirements

Candidates should have extensive closing experience in software or SaaS businesses, managing multi-threaded sales processes and enterprise deals. Experience with consultative, value-based selling and a proven track record of exceeding quotas is essential. Prior experience selling highly technical products/services and strong communication skills via multiple channels are required. An entrepreneurial attitude and the ability to thrive in a fast-growing, unstructured environment are also necessary. Experience in the payments space or selling B2B SaaS, prior experience at a growth-stage internet/software company, and familiarity with eCommerce providers and subscription services are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

The Senior Account Executive will convert qualified leads into customers by managing the full sales cycle from prospecting and qualifying to closing deals. Responsibilities include building pipeline from both inbound leads and self-sourced opportunities, mastering Paddle's product and articulating its value proposition to various stakeholders. The role involves collaborating with management and other departments to define effective sales strategies, identifying product flaws to inform sales techniques and the product roadmap, and mentoring new Account Executives. The individual will also continuously learn and develop as a thought leader in the industry.
