Requirements

Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience providing top-tier technical support in a dynamic and fast-paced organization, with experience supporting applications, desktop and mobile devices, and related IT infrastructure solutions in a cloud-only environment. Familiarity with device management software such as Jamf or Microsoft Intune, experience supporting Google Workspace, and exposure to Microsoft Azure services are required. Foundational networking knowledge including TCP/IP, firewalls, and VPNs is necessary, along with awareness of compliance frameworks like SOC2, ISO 27001, and UK Cyber Essentials. A history of providing excellent customer service and the ability to distill technical topics for a wide audience are also essential.

Responsibilities

The Security Support Specialist will provide operations support for cloud environments, SaaS applications, and related information security technology assets. Responsibilities include deploying endpoints to the remote workforce, developing and maintaining technical support/knowledge base documentation, and creating Service Level Agreements to set expectations and measure performance. The role also involves developing and optimizing installation, operations, and configuration procedures, assisting with the secure integration of cloud applications and infrastructure, and supporting the implementation of highly-available hardware and software systems. Additionally, the specialist will support the rollout and enforcement of security policies such as IAM, IGA, and endpoint protection.
