Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, and a minimum of 5 years of experience in security engineering with a focus on endpoint security. They must have a strong understanding of endpoint security concepts, technologies, and best practices, along with experience with secure enterprise browsers, EDR solutions, antivirus software, and other endpoint security tools. Knowledge of operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and network protocols is required, and proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell is preferred. Relevant certifications, such as CISSP, CEH, or Security+, are also desired.
The Senior Security Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining endpoint security solutions with a specific emphasis on browser security, including identifying vulnerabilities, implementing remediation strategies, and ensuring compliance with security policies and regulations. They will perform security assessments of company products, develop and implement security policies, procedures, and standards for endpoint protection, monitor security events and alerts, investigate security incidents, drive data-driven decisions for security initiatives, and automate security tasks using scripting and other tools. Furthermore, they will provide technical expertise and guidance to IT staff and end-users on endpoint security best practices, stay up-to-date on the latest endpoint security threats and technologies, and assist customers with enterprise security related issues.
