Requirements

Candidates should possess deep expertise in cloud IAM services such as AWS IAM, Azure Entra, GCP IAM, and OCI IAM. Experience building access provisioning and governance systems as-a-service, familiarity with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform, and a strong understanding of identity federation and SSO protocols (OAuth, OIDC, SAML, SCIM) are essential. Proficiency in scripting and automation using languages like Python, Bash, or Go, along with experience in cloud-scale, business-critical Linux environments, is required. Demonstrated ability to manage projects with stakeholders and ensure successful delivery in a fast-paced environment is also necessary. Bonus points include experience with Microsoft Active Directory design and management, familiarity with compliance frameworks (NIST, FedRAMP, FIPS, PCI-DSS), and experience securing cloud-based applications and services in AWS.

Responsibilities

The Sr. Engineer, Identity and Access Management will design, implement, and maintain access control solutions for a multi-cloud platform, ensuring the performance, reliability, and usability of access systems. They will manage security risk and governance for identity and access, including identity lifecycle, least-privilege control design, threat modeling, verification, and audit. Responsibilities also include developing scripting and automation solutions to streamline access operations and integrations, leading and managing projects with cross-functional stakeholders, and staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in IAM and cybersecurity. Additionally, the role involves providing technical leadership and mentorship to junior security engineers and participating in the interviewing process for new talent.
