Requirements

Candidates must have 5+ years of sales experience, preferably in the international telecom industry. A highly analytical and strategic mindset with proven data analysis skills is required, along with excellent written and verbal communication abilities to influence senior stakeholders. Demonstrated success in leading customer meetings and exceeding critical metrics is essential. The role also requires a bias for action, comfort working with technical and cross-functional teams, strong self-drive, and excellent negotiation skills. Experience with software, SaaS, CPaas, or PaaS is desired, as is an understanding of the SMS supplier ecosystem and experience creating financial pricing models.

Responsibilities

The Sales Specialist will develop and drive strategies to achieve optimized profitability within their assigned accounts, ruthlessly prioritizing opportunities to maximize profit. They will own and execute pricing strategies, collaborating with routing specialists to maximize volume aggregation and account health. Responsibilities include providing regular performance reports to management on sales pipeline and account status, cultivating relationships with internal partners to drive cost efficiencies, and working with cross-functional teams to ensure messaging solutions meet client needs. The specialist will utilize a deep understanding of the messaging ecosystem to support high-value clients and represent Twilio at industry events.
