Zerion is seeking a driven and experienced Enterprise Account Executive to spearhead outbound sales for its core product lines, including API and chain integrations. This role involves managing the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to deal closure, with a focus on expanding the company's presence among mid-market and enterprise clients in the Web3 and fintech sectors. The Account Executive will collaborate directly with founders, product, and business development teams to influence go-to-market strategies, establish scalable processes, and drive revenue growth through strategic partnerships.
Responsibilities
- Own the complete sales lifecycle: prospect, qualify, pitch, negotiate, and close complex deals.
- Develop and manage a pipeline of enterprise prospects within crypto-native and traditional fintech industries.
- Conduct outbound outreach via LinkedIn, email, events, and founder networks.
- Identify customer pain points and tailor solutions using Zerion's API and data products.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to provide insights for roadmap prioritization based on client feedback.
- Accurately forecast revenue and deal stages.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, fostering long-term relationships and ensuring retention.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of B2B sales experience in SaaS, API, or developer tooling.
- Demonstrated success in closing deals of $100K+ and achieving $1M+ in total booked revenue.
- Proven ability to independently manage outbound sales motions and complex sales cycles.
- Strong understanding of API-based products, technical sales, and developer audiences.
- Experience in Web3 or a deep understanding of blockchain primitives (wallets, smart contracts, nodes).
- Fluent in English (native or near-native proficiency).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience selling to fintech, infrastructure platforms, or crypto-native companies.
- Familiarity with CRM tools such as Hubspot, Salesforce, or Attio.
- Strategic thinking capabilities for defining Ideal Customer Profiles (ICPs), proposing go-to-market motions, and iterating quickly.
- An ownership mindset with the initiative to build processes from scratch.
- A collaborative, low-ego approach to cross-functional work with product and BD teams.
- Curiosity and adaptability to thrive in the rapidly evolving Web3 ecosystem.
- Comfort working in a fully remote, async-first environment at a startup pace.
- Active participation in tech or crypto communities.
- Exposure to developer-focused sales or API tooling.
