The Role: We are seeking an SLED Account Executive to sell our Identity Security Solution to state and local agencies in New Mexico, Idaho, Wyoming, and Montana.

  • Skilled Communicator: Proficient in first engagements and discovery calls, analyzing prospect needs to qualify opportunities.
  • Product Value Expert: Highly proficient in understanding and presenting the value of SailPoint solutions and how they compare to competitors like Microsoft, Okta, and Saviynt.
  • Customer Experience Champion: Provides a superior customer experience from the first discovery call, leveraging skills to competitively position our solutions and broader value proposition, including partner services.
  • Team Leader: Can lead a virtual team of partner resources, presales, partner managers, deal desk, professional services, BVA teams, and customer success to achieve sales wins and customer success.
  • Collaborative Seller: Does not operate independently; sells as a team.
  • Proactive Quarterback: Takes initiative and prepares the team on what is needed before calls.
  • Decisive and Accountable: Makes sound decisions about who should engage and when, and holds people accountable for follow-through.
  • Strategic Planner: Creates territory or opportunity plans outlining steps required for sales cycle progression. Works closely with the leadership team to refine ideas and maximize sales strategy effectiveness.
